Thank you to my future father-in-law Lou Bouchard for hooking me up with these:
So I brought Brother Wease with me and we spent yesterday afternoon walking around Oak Hill seeing the festivities. I had a blast. I loved how much of a social event it is. I'm not a big golf fan.. so I really don't know which famous golfers I'm seeing.. but like I said I absolutely LOVED the idea of walking around, drinking a few beers, and talking to people out in the beautiful weather with the landscape of Oak Hill in the background. Here's a pic I grabbed of the 8th hole green:
Funny moment: Wease & I were having a somewhat loud conversation when these 2 women turned around and yelled at us (you can see golfers putting in the background):
Lots of people getting autographs too.. we found this guy with a couple of autographs on his hat.. and he didn't even know who he had gotten the autographs from!!
I'm actually going out of town Wednesday night for the remainder of the week/weekend.. but if I wasn't I would DEFINITELY go back. I may not be a huge golf fan but just being there yesterday made me want to get more into it. Oak Hill is beautiful and anyone with the chance should head out there at least for a few hours one day to experience it. It only comes to Rochester once every 10 years or so.
